Appointments
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes. Call us at (03) 9466 7338 or email patient@specialistsurgicalgroup.com.au to book an appointment.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Call us at (03) 9466 7338 or email patient@specialistsurgicalgroup.com.au to reschedule or cancel your appointment. A fee may be charged for no-show appointments.
Do I need a referral?
A GP referral or a specialist referral is required for Medicare rebates and consultations. Fax it to (03) 9466 7330 or email it to patient@specialistsurgicalgroup.com.au. Refer to our Referrals section for more information.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your Medicare card, a valid referral letter, a completed new patient registration form, a completed medical and surgical history forms and any relevant correspondence concerning your situation.
Arrive 15 mins early.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Telehealth is available after the initial consultation. We prefer to have a face-to-face for the initial consultation.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (closed public holidays).

Where are you located?
We have 2 locations: 163 Keilor Road, Essendon, and Suite 32, 240 Plenty Road, Bundoora, VIC 3083.
Is there parking available at the Essendon clinic?
Free on-site parking is available inside the compound. Roadside parking has a 2-hour limit.
How do I get to the Essendon clinic by public transport?
Essendon Clinic (Keilor Rd) is reachable via bus routes 477, 483, and 959, or tram route 59.
Alternatively, take the Craigieburn line train to Essendon station, and switch over to tram route 59.
Is there parking available at the Bundoora clinic?
Parking is available at the nearby Uni Hill Town Centre. There is also a 4-hour limit parking behind the building block.
How do I get to the Bundoora clinic by public transport?
Bundoora Clinic (240 Plenty Rd) is accessible via bus routes 382, 383, 566 or tram route 86.
If you are coming by train, take the Mernda line to South Morang station, then switch over to bus route 383.
