Dr Jasmina Kevric graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci), Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (PGDipSurgAnat), and a Master of Public Health (MPH).
She completed her general surgical training at Austin Health, earning the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in General Surgery.
She undertook prestigious BreastSurgANZ fellowships at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, gaining expertise in complex breast surgeries.
Dr Kevric’s early experiences as a refugee from Bosnia, when she arrived in Australia in 2000, fueled her determination to pursue a career in medicine. She has also worked internationally at a refugee camp on the Myanmar-Thai border and a hospital in eastern India, which has enhanced her skills in diverse healthcare settings.
